Live Meal Worms

Most animals eat mealworms. They are fairly low in calcium so should not be used as a staple food for turtles or reptiles. They are high in protein and low in fat. They are not able to climb smooth-sided containers so can be fed out in clean plastic or ceramic dishes. When fed to birds, it's not usually necessary to separate them from the bran as the birds will pick through themselves.
