The Pearl Gourami is a stunning, peaceful addition to community tanks. However, because they can reach a length of 8-10cm, they should not be kept in small or overstocked aquariums where cramped conditions can lead to stress or territorial behavior. To see them at their best, provide a spacious, well-planted environment with plenty of surface cover to mimic their natural habitat and support their long-term health.

Compatibility: The Pearl Gourami is one of the most peaceful labyrinth fish, making it an excellent candidate for a community tank. They are peaceful and will do great with any non-aggressive fish when in a tank community.
