Like us, all dogs need a bit of sprucing up to maintain a healthy coat, improved appearance and smell. No matter what breed your dog is or coat type they have, they all need to be groomed regularly to be at their best.
You may not know this but grooming includes many processes other than “clipping” hair. Clipping is most commonly done to dogs whose hair grows continuously but is actually only one step in the grooming process.

Regular grooming not only keeps your dog’s skin healthy but provides their coat with a protective barrier and the ability to receive sensory information.
Brushing and combing should be commonly practiced at home (a few minutes daily) as it will not only keep your dog’s coat lovely but help form a bond between you and your dog. Make grooming a positive experience for you both by being relaxed and rewarding your buddy’s good behaviour with treats.
