Why not treat your pooch to some homemade cupcakes for dogs, or as we call them pupcakes!
Here is a simple pupcake recipe that will take you less than 40 minutes in the kitchen.
All you need is a cupcake tin or silicone mold (preferably small) and 5 dog-friendly ingredients. Of course, it can be adjusted to suit your dog and pantry, but just make sure it's safe for your pooch before doing so.
Healthy Peanut Butter Pupcake Recipe
Prep Time 10 mins | Cook Time 14-26 mins | Servings: 6-10 pupcakes
Ingredients
¼ cup Pic’s peanut butter (no additives)
2 ripe bananas mashed
1 apple and/or carrot grated (optional)
2 eggs
1 tablespoon baking powder
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C on bake
Prep your cupcake tin/mold with cupcake liners and spray with olive oil
In a bowl, add all ingredients and stir until combined.
Scoop mixture into cupcake tin or mold
Bake small pupcakes for 14-18 minutes or big pupcakes for 22-26 minutes
Pupcake Toppings
To make it extra special, spread a little more peanut butter and add P-Nutter Mini dog treats or your dog's favourite dog food topper or dog treats.
